i'm back to the blogosphere!

Well I am back from Puerto Rico for the holidays, but only for a few more days...I have been terrible at updating this blog the past 2 months so I thought I'd give you a little peek into what I've been up to down there...waves have been super fun and the sunsets are gorgeous every day. I've recently gotten into wrapping sea glass and stones that I find in PR and other random things...it's very addicting!

isabel gone wild

Well amidst my packing and hectic last few days in the states, this editorial was just too good to not post!
Isabel Lucas shot in Botswana by Max Doyle. Incredible styling by Naomi Smith.
Jeez, Australia is just killing it with everything lately.

inspiring interiors

Having moved around a lot in the past few years I have learned to decorate mostly with things I already own + a bit of thrift shopping. I leave for Puerto Rico in a week and cannot wait to see what I can do to decorate with the stuff I bring with me and things I find while down there! I'm thinking lots of seashells, tapestries, candles, pillows, driftwood, dreamcatchers, favorite photos (which I need to print out a bunch of!), surfboards, my beloved mexican blanket, white paper lanterns, plants, etc...all things that are small and easy to pack! Sounds like the perfect bohemian heaven to me.
So stoked!

Oh and don't worry, of course I will post pictures of my new habitat!

el dia de los muertos

Since I am getting my wisdom teeth out right before halloween, this seems like an appropriate costume...I'm thinking if I paint my face no one will be able to see my chipmunk cheeks! Plus I have always thought the painted El Dia de Los Muertos skulls are beautiful and not so creepy.
